COMMUNITY GOVERNANCE REVIEW OF SCARCLIFFE PARISH COUNCIL- Stage 2 (1 February to 30 April 2012)

The Council on 25 January 2012 agreed to:

·        create a new Parish of Langwith with 3 wards electing 4 councillors per ward, and

·        change the warding arrangements for Scarcliffe Parish with 2 wards electing 4 councillors per ward.

This is now your opportunity to tell us whether you think these new arrangements should come into effect in 2013 (combined with Derbyshire County Council elections) or at the next scheduled District and Parish elections in 2015.  You are also invited to confirm your agreement with the ward boundaries and number of Councillors per ward.

If you live, work or study in the area of the current Scarcliffe Parish Council, please use this form to give us your views online.

Details of the new arrangements can be found in “The Bolsover District Council (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2012 number 1”.  A copy of the Order can be viewed online at http://www.bolsover.gov.uk/community-governance-review.html; at the Bolsover or Shirebrook Contact Centres or at the offices of Scarcliffe Parish Council.
