Description: The survey will enable consultation with the parents /guardians of users of the sports development service across all programmes delivered. The survey aims to gauge the satisfaction levels and what areas of the service they consider important to aid annual service improvement. The survey will conducted during the Community Sports Coaching sessions with support for the coaching staff & surveys will be collected and returned when completed. The survey will be completed 3 times per year relating to the GO Football programme and annually for all other (12) programmes. This timescale will be reviewed after the first survey to ensure there will be enough time to make changes in between the surveys. It is anticipated that over 12 months, approximately 600 surveys will be returned for analysis.

Project objectives: The survey will gauge satisfaction levels of the parents/guardians of young people using Community Sports Coaching programmes in relation to programme delivery, coaching staff, venue & equipment and will assess which areas of the service are deemed important. It will highlight aspects of the services that are being delivered as our customers expect and which aspects need improving.
Reason for consultation: Results from the survey will enable the sports development unit to make service improvements where appropriate to its Community Sports Coaching programmes.
