Project objectives: As part of the development of a swimming strategy, North East Derbyshire District Council would like to understand what might encourage residents to swim more often.
Reason for consultation: One of North East Derbyshire District Council’s priorities is to promote healthy lifestyles and to support its residents in being more active. As part of its drive to encourage us all to have a go at sports, arts and recreational activities, the Council is developing a Swim Strategy. The consultation is needed to help develop the content of this strategy.
Expected outcomes: The findings of the consultation will influence the content of the Swim Strategy which is currently being developed.
