The “Project Piggy Bank” Grant Scheme


This scheme is run by the Youth Council with support from the six secondary schools in the district. The scheme can provide young people with up to £250 to change something for the better in the local community. This community could be other young people, people with similar interests or involve people in the local area. In order for your application to be considered it must meet the eligibility criteria set out in the application form.         

Why are we Consulting

By taking part in the grant scheme, and turning your good idea into reality, it won’t just be the community that benefits.

By putting your idea into action you will develop many practical and useful skills that can help you in the future.

Applications must be received two weeks prior to the next Youth Council meeting to be considered at that meeting.
