North East Derbyshire District Council would like to understand how the use of technology is changing in our communities.

We have an ongoing programme of increasing the ways that people can engage with us, such as through Direct Debit payments, email correspondence, online forms for reporting issues, web chat and live video communications. These online facilities were proven to be extremely useful during the Covid-19 lockdown, enabling residents to engage with the Council from the safety of their home.

Why we are Consulting

Now we want to hear from all residents on how they use online services, whether it is to communicate with the Council or to undertake other activities such as shopping, banking, maintaining social networks or engaging with other service providers. If you do not access services online we also want to hear from to help us understand what is stopping you from doing so.

This information will be used to improve access to our services in the future and to develop projects which may be able to remove barriers to using technology for some residents.

There is £100 in High Street shopping vouchers for one lucky responder who will be drawn at random.
